The Perfect Day: An early start with oatmeal and tea, moving on to bike to the trailhead for Bear Peak, hike up, picnic at the summit at noon (reapplying generous sunscreen), teleporting to the beach for a swim and tossing the frisbee, a nap and reading in the hammock, cooking dinner with friends and family outside, then finishing up with a music and dancing in a capoeira roda (a Brazilian martial arts "dance-fight" circle) late into the night with friends in the Plaza Victoria. All while wearing my fanny pack.
Dream Job: Bringing generations and cultures together to appreciate and experience nature and adventure and great music and fantastic dance parties.
Dream Vacation: (With my sisters) Hike and camp on the Inca trail, bike down the coast to arrive in Valparaiso, Chile for New Year's Eve, and the long trek via bus to Torres del Paine to hike the W route.
What I do when I'm not at AAVE: Learn and Love! I love hiking, camping, flaunting my marshmallow roasting skills, reading books (for kids and adults), writing, discovering new vegetables, playing ultimate frisbee with CU Women's Club team, playing capoeira, canoeing, snowboarding and attempting to bother my little sister.
