I’m not sure where this will end up, but I have a few minutes of free time, so why not? I went on the Bold West trip back in 1999. I was one of the older one’s on the trip at 18. I have to admit that I did not fully appreciate that summer until 2002, when I was thrown from the world of living with my parents to the world of living on my own, having to work to live, and most importantly, having a family of my own to raise and care for. I realize that the trip I took was absolutely one of the best experiences I have ever had, and I wish that I could do it all over again. I was bored and found the AAVE website in an effort to “re-live” some of the memories from 1999. I hope everyone has a great time this summer, and please be sure to appreciate and enjoy every minute of it.
