Alex returned from her trip happy, more self confident, mature and had gained a real sense of appreciation of her family and the life that she enjoys here at home. I believe she has fundamentally changed since her trip and we are delighted that she found it all such a positive experience. She loved making such varied and interesting friends and I know will keep in contact with them . She has memories to last a lifetime. They had such a variety of experiences - from the trip and time spent at the orphanage to visiting the Salt Pans and Victoria Falls. She didn’t even seem to mind handing over her cell phone - quite an achievement in itself!!! -Vanessa Trodd
