Ultimate Colorado #1A Update

Hello from beautiful Colorado! Our group just finished our overnight river trip on the Arkansas River, which was filled with sunshine, water fights, a pirate challenge, and a night-time viewing of the space station while camping along the riverside!

Everyone in our group is having an absolute blast, and we just had a free day, so we decided to combine with another AAVE group in the area for an epic Ultimate Frisbee championship game. To no one’s surprise, Jacob led his team to victory.

We’ve been eating like kings and queens thus far, with our best meal going to the NJTB cook crew for some of the best tacos north of the border. We’re now getting geared up for our big backpacking trek outside of Rocky Mountain National Park - it is sure to be one of the highlights of the trip! We’ll have our eyes open for deer and moose and elk … oh my!
