Bold West 1A Update!

Following a quick and easy day at the airport we escaped the busy city of Las Vegas to Crawdad Canyon just outside of St. George, Utah. Our Bold West trip started with a bang as we jumped right into a two-day rock climbing adventure with Paragon Adventures! All of the kids made it to the top of their very first climbs and enjoyed every minute of it! They all stepped out of their comfort zones and felt great after their accomplishments. By the second day of climbing they had scaled 80 to 120 foot walls with great confidence, repelled 80 foot cliffs, and crossed a 600 foot zip-line!
We are currently enjoying the breathtaking beauty of being surrounded by gigantic red cliffs in Zion National Park. We got up at the crack of dawn yesterday to climb Angel’s Landing. This hike had its challenging moments, but proved to be very fun as it afforded us incredible views from the top. Today, we hiked through The Narrows, wading through water beneath the thousand-foot cliffs that tower overhead.
We will be heading off to Las Vegas tomorrow following a 2-mile tubing excursion down the Virgin River! We loved Zion and climbing in Crawdad Canyon, but we are ready for real showers and walking the strip in Vegas! We will send another update soon!
