Italy Greece Summer Update!

This is a quick blog that our campers wrote this evening. It’s short
but we’ll be sure to write more and incorporate a more personal
account as the days go by. Everyone is still adjusting to jet lag and
hoping to get to bed early tonight.
Greetings from beautiful Athens! Our trip is going extremely well so
far, and everyone is as happy as a clam. We spent the day touring
through the Parthenon, and then walked around and shopped and got a
great look of where we just were at, the Acropolis. We’ve tasted
traditional Greek food, which is some of the greatest on earth, and
our Greek guide, Trifonas has taught us many Greek sayings and
expressions. Though our time in Athens, has been short, we have had a
blast so far! Tomorrow, we bid farewell to the ancient city and head
to Alfeios where we will be spending some time putting our white water
rafting skills to the test. Stay tuned as we’ll write again soon…
