Diving Down Under - Australia 3

Good ayyyye Mates!
Our little aqua scholars are in school as we speak, working hard to
enjoy our two day overnight boat trip on the Great Barrier Reef. The
group is excited. Our boat looks amazing!
We checked out a cool aboriginal show where they showed us how to
throw a boomerang and how to play the didgeridoo. Pretty neat. We
settled into our beach campsite in Cairns, but are all hoping for
sunshine as it has been overcast and raining … a lot! It hasn’t been
enough to dampen the spirits of our group. They just jump back in the
hot tub when it rains! We are becoming master chefs already. You will
all be quite impressed with what we have been preparing for our meals.
Also a couple of medical updates. Sarah our leader twisted her ankle.
She is fine with the group and good but it may take some time to fully
heal. Also, unfortunately Sam, Karen, Hank did not fully pass the
strict PADI medical exam so their diving will be limited. YES, they
will be fully involved and are happy!
Well that’s it for now.
I’ll be sure to write about our night dives and more later.
Cheers!
Sarah, Mike, and the gang.
