Laughs and Smiles From Colorado! - Colorado Discovery 2

Hiiiii-ya! Greetings from Colo Disco 2! (A.k.a. “THE CO NINJAS!”)

Time flies when you are having fun! Only two days ago, we were mountain biking in Crested Butte. It was a blast – the trails were appropriately challenging and the scenery was incredible. It was like riding through a post card! Our whole group is very athletic and each one came out of the experience unscathed! The kids looooooved town time! They really enjoyed having the freedom to explore the adorable mountain town “The Butte”! Oh, and the stories they came back with had us in absolute stitches! Everything from ice cream scoops that leap off their cones, to impromptu games of tag started by random local kids! “Hey you. YOU’RE IT!”

Like we said before, our group bonded quickly and we are already like family. Really, we are like an Italian family – telling LOTS of stories and eating LOTS of food! Today we did community service with an environmental school in Aspen. We worked to restore the habitat of Colorado’s only native fish: the cutthroat trout.

Our group knows how to work hard and play hard, and we really like that! After community service, we worked up an appetite with an intense game of capture the flag. Now we are setting up camp and making dinner in our gorgeous Colorado riverside campsite. Taco Tuesday! Wait, what day is it? (Kidding…) Oh, and this is important: The kids REALLY want mail, so if you have a minute, drop us a line! The address for our next mail stop is:

“OWL”
110 Brookdale Ave.
Buena Vista, CO 81211

Here’s what the kids have to say about their experience so far:
