“Danielle had an amazing adventure beyond her expectations. She has a wonderful appreciation of our country’s beauty and learned to love being more active than she has ever before. Life’s usual expectations of bathing became secondary to the love of hiking, boating, and horseback riding. The group dynamics were excellent and she seems to have fond memories of the wonderful relationships she made. I am thrilled my daughter had this life changing experience!”

“The trip was completely successful in that it helped me establish an understanding of leadership and group survival. We were all able to contribute a part of ourselves to make an awesome summer. I learned skills that will help me to survive physically as well as emotionally for the rest of my life. Our supplies were perfect, the leaders were amazing, and the adventure for 28 days will continue in me forever.”

“I cannot say enough about this trip. I made so many good friends and had so many great experiences and adventures that it is hard to just pick one. The hike into Havasu Canyon was intense, and was definitely the hardest hike I have done in my life, but it was also the most rewarding experience. After the 6 hour hike beginning at 1:30 in the morning, we finally arrived at Havasu Falls. Seeing the water fall from up above for the first time was the best feeling I’ve ever had. The water was so blue and looked so cold after the long hot hike that none of us could wait to set up camps before we could go swimming.”

“I loved visiting all the beautiful places and doing things that I would never do at home. I also loved the sense of family that grew between myself and the others on the trip.”

“From the very beginning planning stages, I had confidence in the AAVE experience. It was well organized, thorough, and ultimately well run. As a parent, I never worried about the safety or well-being of my daughter. She returned from the experience happy, confident in her own abilities and read to face any challenge put before her.”

Hi,

I’m Noah Zind and I’ll be leading this trip. Boot Saddle Paddle is amazing. I led it last summer. I grew up in Vermont. Any of you from New England?
