Preparing for The Backpack! - Ultimate Colorado 2

Hey Abbott and Bold West Family and friends!
We are having an amazing trip and absolutely LOVE our kids!
We are now in Grand Lake Colorado enjoying the quaint mountain town while we prepare for our next big adventure; a four day backpack just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. So far it has been a thrilling ride for all.
Fresh off our white water rafting trip we are in no short supply of stories, like when Yasmine mustered up the courage to take the plunge off jump rock and Sean did the same only in a front flip fashion. While passing through the old mining town of Leadville, Colorado, Sarah, Yasmine, and Agethe all bought matching Leadville sweatshirts which also came with a gift for the leaders, free T shirts! Needless to say we were very pleased.
We have played many games along the way and some of the crew have become experts at them. Mike is always the champion ninja tag player while Martin always finds his way to be the top player in the card game Presidents. The boys even have a beard growing competition going in which Jerome has taken a silent lead in. Hanging out at camp is also a great chance to bond. Kevin and Ramon seem to have taken the role of a couple the way they love to razz each other. Every night before we all fall asleep in our tents we can expect a personalized good night from Alexandre as he shouts them out one by one until all names have been called. Then of course there was the night we returned to camp from a full day of rock climbing and playing in the park to find Sean’s and Thomas’ rainfly had blown completely off and let in all the rain leaving an inch or so of standing water in their tent. Then we have our fitness buff Alex who takes any opportunity to bust out some push ups on the dirt or pull ups off the van. We all wish you the best and hope you are enjoying your summer as much as the Ultimate Colorado crew!
