By the way, I love the name of your firm. That my son, Wyatt “got it” really wowed me. He believes he IS visiting earth - on this trip - for the first time! Cool reach.

Hey AAVE friends and fam!

We’re taking advantage of every ounce of internet time we get to keep you guys in the loop!  We arrived on wonderful Lopez Island yesterday after saying goodbye to British Columbia.  This place is amazing!  We spent the entire afternoon exploring and hanging out on the beach of Spencer’s Spit State Park, swimming in the FREEZING cold water, and building a fort out of downed logs.  It was awesome!

Today we’re sea kayaking along the south edge of the island where the guides said we’ll see seals, eagles, and some pretty fantastic scenery. Tomorrow we’ll be biking around Lopez Island before moving on to Orcas Island to do some more biking there!  We’ll finish off our time in the San Juan Islands “giving back”: we’ll be doing a service project in Moran State Park, helping the rangers out in keeping the park pristine!

Keep checking the blog, and we’ll do our best to tell you about our latest adventures!

Ciao

Hello everyone!

Eric here with the weekly news flash from Orcas Island in the Puget Sound, Washington. We are enjoying our last day here before we begin our final adventure! We went kayaking under perfect weather and saw plenty of marine life. The views were epic and it was such a clear day that we could see the snow capped Mt. Baker perfectly and we even saw towering Mt. Rainer out in the distance. When we stopped for lunch Alex S. and Harrison caught a giant crab! Tal and Ryan were our paddling powerhouses showing the group some solid strength. At some point a water fight broke out and Fallon got totally soaked! While kayaking we also saw seals and a jellyfish that was the size of a small human! The last two days we have been biking around the islands in  perfect sunny weather. Did I mention that the weather has been amazing? The islands here are so natural and green with tiny deer grazing around every corner. Today is our last day here =( But tomorrow we are beginning our final adventure which will be our backpack in the Cascades!! Ok for now, Talk to you soon. Adios from All About Visiting Earth!

Hey everyone!  This is Eric on wcd #1b with a fresh update!

Hello Folks!  This is Eric with the latest!  So after two awesome days on the blackcomb glacier we headed south to Squamish.  The campsite is epic!  Towering trees surrounded in lush tropical growth with private access to a giant lake.  We just finished our last day of climbing and blew the guides away with our energy!  Alex R. ditched his fear of heights today and showed everyone some serious skills!  Sarah took a stab at the hardest climb and made it up faster than anyone else!  Tal somehow put 10 carrots in his mouth at lunch!  Good times!  So tom morrow we are breaking camp and driving down into Vancouver and onto the San Juan Islands.  I am taking lots of pictures so next time hopefully i can upload some group photos.  Adios everyone.

Dear Friends and Family,

We are on our seventh day of the trip having a wonderful time. After getting picked up from the airport, we drove to a campsite on the outskirts of Levenworth, Washington. We got to know each other a little better through games, and team building activities. The next day we spent on a hike, where we could overlook the Levenworth, which is themed like a German village. The kids all did amazing on the hike. Not even one complaint with many many more than a few feet of elevation gain. You all should be very proud. The next two days was spent tubing down the treacherous (Class 1), Levenworth River, swinging on a rope swing, playing ultimate frisbee, capture the flag, and swimming in a lake.

We then got the troops together and headed to Whistler, Canada. For the past two days we have been snowboarding or skiing next to the pros, or checking out the downhill bikers. Each child has their own characteristic that is bringing positivity to our team. Marisa is a great soccer player, and has been keeping up with all those crazy boys. Sarah, is such a joy to be around, not one complaint and does everything she is asked without hesitation. Alex R, has stepped up as a peer leader helping his peers out when needed. Alex S, is a natural leader, and always has a smile on his face. Angelique, always, always, is smiling. She is able to cheer up a room just with her laugh. Falon, has made allot of friends, and is always willing to be a part of the group. Anna, is willing to try anything, and is very outspoken. Jake has also stepped into a leadership role. He is always willing to lend a hand, and wants everyone to always be happy. Ryan has a smile that is contagious, he smiles and it brightens up the room. Guillermo, is doing wonderful, he makes the rest of the kids laugh all the time, and is a strong kid, not one complaint from him. Harrison, is very outgoing, he has a way to make everyone laugh, and seems to be able to have fun no matter what the situation. Finally, we have Scott, who at the beginning was a little shy, but has gotten out of his shell and his personality is really shining through. Tal is solid as a rock aways a friend, positive and alway ready to contribute. The team is doing wonderful and we are all having a great time. Well our next step is to Squamish, to go climb tomorrow. So talk to you soon. WILD COAST DISCOVERY 1B
