South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia; four unique cultures and four passport stamps. AAVE takes you to the wild side of Southern Africa on a world-class eco-expedition.
Trip Highlights:
Finest wildlife sanctuary areas in the world.
Elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, & many more!
Botswana:
Considered by many to be the heart of Africa, Botswana is full of friendly and peaceful people, exotic wildlife and awe-inspiring landscapes. Chobe National Park and the Tuli private game reserve are home to thousands of elephants, baboons, monkeys, warthogs, and mongoose. We give back to the area with a service project and cultural exchange in the village of Sepupa. We also take off on an overnight ATV adventure across the Makgadikgdi Salt Pans.
Namibia:
On the Caprivi Strip, along the banks of the Kavango River, we discover the African way of life with local villagers who give us insight into their culture. We also partake in a river tour aboard African canoes known as mekoros.
Zambia:
Victoria Falls, one of the most popular areas we explore, is one of the largest waterfalls in the world and known as The Smoke That Thunders. We visit a school and orphanage in Livingstone where we sing, dance, laugh and play games with the local children.
South Africa:
The Apartheid Museum illustrates the rise and fall of a unique part of South African history. This is an intense and valuable experience. We end our journey by relaxing in warm mineral hot springs before we say, Hamba Gashle Umgani (Go well our friends)!
