Our Alaskan adventure begins with stunning scenery and abundant wildlife in the Chugach mountain range. Here, we enjoy a four-day backpack as well as a "give back" service project in the areas we visit. We then head to Seward, one of Alaska's oldest and most scenic towns, to participate in a magnificent sea kayak adventure out of Resurrection Bay.
Next, we enjoy an unforgettable Alaskan mountaineering experience on the Matanuska Glacier. After being outfitted with crampons, ice axes and climbing gear, we get an introduction to the exhilarating sport of ice climbing. Then, we hit the ice!
On the Matanuska River we spend two days rafting class III and IV rapids. Our final adventure is a five-day exploration of the Denali region where we backpack along the Kesugi Ridge in the shadow of Mt. McKinley, the highest peak in North America.
